Parnu to RMK Lemme Telkimisala

Saturday July 30. 59km.  Total distance 922km

Found a nice coffee shop in the old Parnu town centre then rode down to check out the beach.  Happened to be the Ladies Beach where nude bathing was allowed and visitors were asked to be respectful of their privacy.

Also had beach soccer in action.

Lots of ways to keep the tourists amused in Parnu, including a high ropes course.

The track out of Parnu to avoid the busy road was interesting.  An occasional fallen down tree to get the bike over, and stinging nettles along the edge.

Then we got back out onto the busy road again, between Parnu and Riga.
Dermot did some more map checking to get us onto back roads and found a great alternative.  At the little town of Uulu we came across a lamb grilling competition / fair with folk dancing and vintage cars.

There are some lovely old churches in the small country towns.  This one was in a little place called Haademeeste.  I think it's Lutheran.

Had a Russian couple camping near us so spent the evening at their campsite letting Michael practice his English.
