Woke up to pouring rain, but fortunately in a hotel, so could catch up on Internet Time and clothes washing.
Eventually headed out in the late afternoon to check out train and bus times to head south a bit quicker. We were hoping to be able to get a train to Klaipeda at the northern end of the Courland spit but for some reason there is a train only on Fridays. We reserved some bus seats, but have to wait and ask the driver whether he'll take our bikes.
On the way back to our hotel we stopped at the Latvian Science centre which has a viewing tower on the 15th floor. Great views of Riga.
Breakfasts have been interesting on this trip. First there were the Indian breakfasts in Stockholm. Now in Latvia with get bread with cucumber, cheese and ham.
