Melnik to Prague

Thursday August 18.
Melnik to Prague.  62km.  Total 1707km.

We began the day at a lock on the Vltava with a height change of at least 8m.

The view back to Melnik from the lock was stunning.

  We had to cross the river again on a ferry - they use a pendulum action to go across.  Met up with a German lady Yvonne, who we rode with for the rest of the day.

We came across the young kids selling marijuana.  Yvonne reckoned they were Gypsies.

The ride through Prague to our AirBnB about 10km had some scary moments.  Got caught on a 6 lane road with no bike path.  Ended up going along a section that with a barrier between us and the road, but had to take the panniers off to get through in places!
