Riding Day 12. Kullamaa to Parnu

Kullamaa to Parnu

Friday July 29.  91km.  Total distance 863km

Lisse was heading to a national park to the west on the coast, but we decided to keep heading south.  Had some delightful quiet roads until we hit the main Tallinn/Parnu road. 

Then it was really scary.  Trucks belting along at 100km and only a tiny verge to ride along.  After 10km we pulled off to find another option.  Dermot managed to navigate us along some dirt back roads where there were vast fields of peat being mined.  

Loads of Storks nesting in trees and power poles along the way.

Eventually got to Audru then the garmin lead us on quiet roads into Parnu and out to a campground alongside the river. Parnu is known as the summer playground of Estonia and the campground was packed.
