Sinca Veche to Brasov 77km Total 2911km
The pension we stayed in turned out to be very ordinary. No decent internet, no cooking facilities, the towels smelt of room freshener, dogs barked all night and the bed was hard and lumpy!!
About 25km down the road we came across a very nice place. Stopped for coffee and pancakes with nuts and honey. Yum. Would have only cost $20 more for the night.

Rode past Bran Castle, setting for Dracula . Heaps of tourists and Dermot wasn't too keen to stop.
Then off to Rasnov where there's a fantastic looking Citadel, originally built in the 12 century.
Again, only took a photo.
Then had a very busy road into Brasov.
Romania is a truly amazing country. Riding along, we see people digging potatoes in the fields, lots of horse drawn carts, very rural life in what appears to be a poor country. Then we arrive in a city like Brasov and there are restaurants everywhere, people drinking nice wine, eating gourmet food and living very well. The AirBnb we're in is really nice. Huge contrasts. But the people everywhere are so friendly.
There's a large Hungarian population living in Brasnov and there's a festival on at the moment celebrating their culture. The person we spoke to said his Citizenship is Romanian but his nationality is Hungarian. Most Romanians seem very open to this.
Again, only took a photo.
