Great day of cycling.  Beautiful bike path to the border.

Then a very straight forward border crossing.  The Hungarian border control stamped the passport, passed it onto the Romania control who stamped it and gave it back to us.  Very friendly too.

Stopped in Salonta for coffee and had wonderful Camelia serve us. She spoke really good English and was so friendly.

Then through small towns.  Ate lunch in another place where extremely friendly and spoke good English.  If Romania stays like this it will be great.

At times we had really nice bike paths to ride along, other times very potholed roads, other times pleasant roads.  The traffic wasn't an issue either.

The 2 drinks were a total of about $3AUD

Staying in a nice pension in Bieus.  Really clean pleasant room with ensuite and wifi for $40AUD including breakfast.
