Didn't really do much today - bit of planning for the next part of our adventure, coffee at the EspressoLab cafe down on the Bosphorus. The most exciting bit of the day was having a haircut - but the hairdresser guy didn't speak a word of English. I think it turned out OK though.
In the evening went to another concert at Kaylee's school, this time the kids performing. So not what my preconceived ideas of Turkish kids was. They were just like Australian kids really - loud music, dancing etc.

Heybeli Island
Caught the ferry out to Heybeli Island for the day with Kaylee. It's out in the Marmara Sea. Bit wild on the way out but ended up having nice weather for the day.

Went for a walk around the Island. No cars allowed, so lovely and peaceful.
This is an old Greek Seminary up on the hill. It was being run as a Greek School but is now defunct since the Turkish Government brought in new laws in the 1970's.

| Kaylee reckons she's going to re-open it. Such a beautiful location. |
Couldn't resist another walk along the Bosphorus when we got back for our last night in Istanbul. Such a lovely vibrant city and we've been so lucky to be able to stay with Kaylee in such a great location.
